PGA officials make good call about weather
by J. Justin Boggs, Columbus Wired
Heading into Saturday’s third round at the Memorial Tournament, the forecast called for on and off storms effecting central Ohio which prompted tournament and PGA officials to start action as early as possible, pair groups into threesomes, and have starts from both the Nos. 1 and 10 holes.  The first part of that idea did not help much, but having golfers in threesomes and starting from two holes paid off greatly. With even more rain in the forecast for Sunday, the move likely eliminates the need for the dreaded Monday finish...Read More
