the 2007 Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Course
came down to the final duo of the evening. Rod Pampling,
who started the day in second, hit a birdie with short putt on
No. 18, while second-round leader Adam Scott bogeyed to put

Adam Scott Has Magical Round

While Saturday is moving day towards Sunday’s final round,
the Friday of a tournament is cut down day. This means that some
guys will not make any money for their efforts of the past two
rounds. Two Australians, Adam Scott and Rod Pampling, are
tying to give this tournament a serious international flavor.
Early in the day, Scott shot a 10-under par 62 to take the lead
after the second round. He missed the course record of 61 by

The 2007 Memorial Tournament kicks off Thursday with the
best golfers in the world playing at the Muirfield Village Golf
Course.
The field features the likes of Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson,
Ernie Els, Vijay Singh and Sergio Garcia, all who are in the Top
15 of the FedEx Cup standings. The tournament always serves as a
final tune-up to the U.S. Open, this year being played at

Rain once again played slight havoc with the
Memorial Tournament. Carl Pettersson was able to weather the storms to keep ahead of
both Brett Wetterich (5-under round) and Zack Johnson (2-under
round) who tied for second with 10-under par
to win his first Memorial.

Journeyman Bart Bryant pulled out a stunning and one
of the most dramatic finishes in tournament history, edging out
Fred Couples by one shot to earn his second tour win of his

one to impress and be impressed with winning the final round by only
two strokes; scoring 66 with a final score of 18-under par, 270 to
