For years, teaching professionals have used the image of a broom as the clubhead to get across the idea of sweeping the head back low on your takeaway. The great Harvey Penick was famous for this thought. It's an easy visualization to remember and one that nicely illustrates the move. Recently, I've created a more modern visualization that reminds students of the same principle, but adds the element of gradual acceleration to the movement.
