MAG-A-MUSIC debuted on July 16th on NEWSSTANDS
across the country showcasing A-list artists. Sporting a patented
design, MAG-A-MUSICÔ is a
glossy, large format, fold out magazine incorporating added value
inserts such as posters, stickers, tour schedules, sweepstakes and
coupons.
Also included is an enhanced CD loaded with six
(6) full songs (both hits and exclusive tracks), as well as videos,
interviews, behind the scene footage and screensavers. MAG-A-MUSICÔ
is priced at $8.99.
With the music industry in distress over
increased costs and internet theft, the timing couldn’t be better to
introduce MAG-A-MUSICÔ.
ASG Entertainment has wisely targeted NEWSSTANDS, a completely new
distribution venue to market music to the “one-stop-shopper.” At
the same time, the promotional content is designed to pique the
interest of consumers and redirect them back to the artist’s hit CDs
or upcoming releases (with incentives such as $$$ off coupons).
MAG-A-MUSICÔ
officially launched in July in three genres with three hot titles:
Jive Records’ teen superstar, AARON CARTER; country music diva LEE
ANN WOMACK; and a special collaboration put together by HITS
Magazine titled Smash—a
rock compilation that leads out with SYSTEM OF A DOWN, Adema, Deadsy
and others.
