bulletThe Angry Server
By Jeremy Schmall, Contributing Columnist
I’m the server. You’re the patron. Topic #1: Tipping. Tipping is a strange and powerful instrument. Having somehow evolved into its current form through whatever combination of chance and design, the tip you leave on the table has the power: 1) to light up a brilliant city of goodwill toward mankind in your server, or 2) break the proverbial spine of even the most bitter and calloused lifetime waitress. “But,” you might begin, “why all this heaviness?” “It’s just a tip,” you might even find yourself whispering, to no one, to just yourself, “One among many.”...more

bulletWhen it comes to cooking, both women and men run the range.
Who’s tossing the salad in your kitchen? It’s a toss up, according to a recent national survey that finds both men and women are cooking at home. Women and men respondents were just as likely to say they enjoy cooking very much (50 percent of women and 48 percent of men), although the reasons differ...more

bulletSanity Tips for Eating Out With the Kids
Believe me when I tell you that the young gentlemen of my household, ages 12 and 9, are not cosmopolitan or gourmands. The best thing you could ever pack in their lunch boxes is a nice cold package of Lunchables, and they love beef jerky, french fries, and pizza. Margarita Mamas - Arena District Neil & Nationwide Blvd
Review Score: 4...Aug 2002...Very Dissatisfied...
We had a very bad experience in attending The Margarita Mama’s Fiesta Happy Hour Party with our office group.  We have sent them a letter and have not heard back from them.  Until, we receive information that Margarita Mama’s is up and running smoothly – we will not be returning. AND we will not be recommending that other groups attend the Fiesta Happy Hour.

Ando Japanese Restaurant - Lebanon, OH
Review Score: 10 - It is a wonderful family owned business with great food and service!  Their taste is one of a kind. There sushi always comes in fresh and is served fresh. The environment is welcoming and the food is wonderful!
