enough to bolster the Crew (4-7-6) to a win. D.C. United
(12-1-5) shot them down with flagrant fouls and punch-happy
defense. DC United forward Alecko Eskandrian, eventually
thrown out after getting a red card, scored through the right
side on a penalty kick in the 42nd minute to give DC United a
