OSU FOOTBALL: OHIO
STATE 26, OHIO UNIVERSITY 12
(9/6/08)
The Buckeyes have never lost to an in-state rival.
In fact, the last time Ohio State faced Ohio University in 1999 it
was a runaway victory. But that was the Bobcats of old.
The 2008 version gave the Buckeyes a scare, at one point leading
14-12 before OSU rallied to pull out a 26-14 win heading to Southern
California next week to face the mighty Trojans. The
offense once again looked so-so while the defense allowed
Ohio University over 100 yards rushing, but created four
turnovers on interceptions, leading to a field goal and a
rushing TD.
